My father — God rest his soul — would say that I am tempting fate.

Having been a part of this IT consulting industry in Washington and Baltimore for the last 35 years, I have seen an economic downturn a time or two. They pass – sometimes like a ship in the night, sometimes like a kidney stone — but they do pass.

I must say, however, that things continue very well here at G.1440! Our consulting group is closing new application development engagements and new web design engagements, and our staffing department continues to place good IT people in permanent and contract positions.

Good ideas will always prosper in economic downturns! We have many customers with new and exiting ideas that they are implementing through the web.
